Peak Climbing
Mountaineers and climbers choose Peak Climbing in Nepal as peak climbing is a less technical mountaineering climbing experience from 5600 to 6500 meters in the snowy peaks of the mountains of Nepal. During peak climbing, travelers reach base camp only by a few days of trekking. Paradise Himalayan Journey operates peak climbing activities to some of the most beautiful Trekking peaks including Mera Peak, Parchamo Peak, Island Peak and Pisang Peak which take just a few days to climb. These trekking peaks can be climbed within a few days from 4-6 days. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has permitted Thirty-three trekking peaks in Nepal standing at an altitude between 5587m [Mardi Himal] to 6654m [Mera Peak]. Island peak and Mera Peak are the most popular and widely ascended trekking peaks in Nepal making it as top royalty earner mountain peaks of Nepal. Both these peaks are situated in the Mt. Everest region and are most popular among the adventure peak climbing community in the world. Likewise, Chulu East peak is another popular and giant climbing peak situated in the Annapurna circuit trek route.

The Mountaineering Royalty has been totally waived to those mountains situated on the midwestern and Far western development region of Nepal for 2070/04/01-2075/03/32 (16 July 2013 to 15 July 2018)
- The Royalty of foreign climbers will effect from 01 Jan 2015
- Royalty for Nepali climbers will affect 2070.11.1

(Relating to sub-rule (1) of Rule 26)
Amount to be deposited for Garbage Management
The Mountaineering expedition team shall deposit the following amount as for garbage management :
(a) For the following mountains of the Khumbu and Annapurna Himalayan range
For the Mount Everest |
Four thousand U.S. Dollars or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees. |
For the other mountain having a height of above 8001 meters except for Mount Everest |
Three thousand U.S. Dollar or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees |
For the mountain having a height of 7001 to 8000 meter and Amadablam mountain |
Two thousand U.S. Dollar or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees |
For the mountain having the height of 6501 to 7000 meter |
One thousand U.S. Dollar or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees |
For the mountain having a height of less than 6500 meter |
Five hundred U.S. Dollar or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees |
(b) For the following mountains of the other Himalayan range other than expressed in clause (a).
For the other mountain having the height of more than 8000 meter |
Three thousand U.S. Dollars or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees |
For the mountain having the height of less than 8000 meter |
Five hundred U.S. Dollars or equivalent to that in Nepalese rupees. |
