Mera Peak Climbing is one of the most demanded and popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Mera Peak is situated at the height of 6470m standing as the highest Trekking Peak of Nepal. Mera Peak Climbing routes gets busy during the month of October in the autumn season. During the Mera Peak climbing you can observe the incredible views of the snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga, and others. The authentic Sherpa village, Sherpa culture and the heritages of the region attracts the climbers to this region. Mera Peak has three different summits

  • Mera North (6470m),
  • Mera Central (6461m)
  • Mera South (6065m).

Although Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, Mera peak is not technically difficult to climb. Climbers prefers to climb through Mera La Pass at 5,415m. March, April, September, October & November are the best months for climbing Mera peak however Paradise Himalayan Journey can arrange these climbing experiences as per your wish and holiday schedule.

Accommodation and Meals during Mera Peak climbing

During Mera Peak trek and expedition, we choose to stay at the tea houses and lodges available on the trails. There are enough lodges and tea-houses for accommodation in the route, however we choose to use tent for the accommodation purpose in the higher altitudes. We recommend to use the foam mattress while staying at higher altitudes.

BEST TIME FOR MERA PEAK CLIMBING

The best seasons for Mera Peak Climbing is Autumn and Spring. The most perfect time for Mera Peak climb is between October and November or between March and May.

Mera Peak Climbing Route

The Mera peak is comparably easier than the Island Peak Climbing as the ascent to Mera Peak is basically non-technical. Climbers have to pass thoprough the gravels and rocks at the beginning part of the trek during the adventure peak climbing, later take a steep hike up to Mera High Camp via Mera La glacier and reach High Camp. We spend one night at the Mera High Camp and in the next morning at 1 or 2 AM, we start our summit journey.

Paradise Himalayan Journey staff will pick you up from TIA and transfer to Hotel. Enjoy the prestine culture of "Aththiti Devo Bhawa"  followerd by welcome drinks. At evening, welcome dinner hosted by Paradise Himalayan Journey. Overnight in hotel at Kathmandu.
