Detailed itinerary for 14 Days Langtang Tamang Heritage Trail

On your day one, we welcome you to the city of temples, historic architectural collection, Kathmandu. Today you will be welcomed by our friendly staff at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

From here, you will be safely transferred to your designated hotel. If you are not too jet-lagged from the flight, try exploring the city for a while. There are plenty of things to see in Kathmandu.

Take some rest and gear up for an exciting journey ahead.

Accommodation: Overnight in Hotel at Kathmandu

We rest some hours today, explore some beautiful landmarks in Kathmandu valley till Lunch. You make sure that you pack all the necessary clothes, belongings and equipment for your Langtang Gosaikunda trek. After Lunch, we visit Paradise Himalayan Journey’s office. Our trek guide will check our set of hiking and trekking equipment to make sure that they are in good condition for our coming journey. We also get introduced to fellow participants and discuss our trip.

Activities: Sightseeing around UNESCO World Heritage in Kathmandu valley

Today we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesiby private vehicle or public bus. Syabrubesi is the main entrance for trekking and hiking in Langtang region.

Driving Hours: (122 km/75.8 miles) –7- 9 hrs.

Today after breakfast we start our trekking. Today wil be fun and adventurous. We start our trek after breakfast to Gatlang. Gatlang (2,240m/7,355 ft) is one of the beautiful village in the northern/Views of Ganesh Himal/the Langtang Himalayas and the Gosainkund range.

Trek Distance: 12.1 km / 7.4 miles

Highest Altitude: 2,240m/7,355 ft.

Trek Duration: 6 hrs.

Today we will start our trek just after breakfast. We will hike for about 6 hours today to reach Tatopani (2,610m/8,565ft)

Trek Distance: 12.2km/7.6 miles

Highest Altitude: 2,610m/8,565ft

Trek Duration: 6hrs

After the breakfast, we continue to hike thorugh the forest and dense jungles up and down till we reach Brimdang. There is one beautiful monastery on the hill. The continuous hike will take us to Nagthali lodges. From this place, we get a great view of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Mt. Shishapangma (8,013m), Mt. Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Tibetan Himal and other snowy peaks. We will visit some of the small monasteries. After visiting and spending few hours here, we continue down to Thuman, Thuman is one of the Tibetan influenced Tamang village with Tibetian Tamang culture, lifestyle and friendly people.
