Detailed itinerary for 17 Days Upper Mustang Biking Tour

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

After arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our staff will receive you and transfer you to Hotel. Today we will offer you. Welcome Dinner.

Day 02 : Drive To Pokhara [7 Hours]

After breakfast, we drive to Pokhara. After a 7-hours drive in a private Van/Vehicle, we reach Pokhara. You will take a rest in Hotel and after some rest.

Day 03 : The adventure starts today with a warm up ride on our home trails of the Pokhara Valley!

Today we will go for a warm-up ride around the Pokhara. We will explore the Pokhara valley via bicycle.

Day 04 : Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom(2730 m). Bike to Kagbeni (2800 m)

Early in the Morning, we will fly from Pokhara to Jomsom, (approximately 20 minutes). Reaching Jomsom we assemble our bikes and breakfast in Jomsom.

After breakfast at Jomsom, we start biking to Kagbeni (2800m). We will follow the Kali Gandaki gorge to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is the entry point to Upper Mustang where we’ll stay in the “Red House” hotel.

Day 05 : Kagbeni (2800m) to Muktinath (3800m)

Today we wake up early to enjoy the spectacular sunrise, we enjoy morning photoshoot in the amazing landscapes. We start our biking, we will bike mostly uphill to Muktinath on the Jeep track. During the ride, we stop at Jharkot for lunch. After lunch, we ride to Muktinath.

Day 06 : Muktinath (3800m) to Chaile (3050m)

Day 07 : Chaile (3050 meters) to Syangboche (3800 m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel at Syangboche

Distance: 20KM, ride-able

Day 08 : Syangboche (3800m) to Charang (3560m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel at Charang

Distance: 22KM, ride-able

Day 09 : Charang (3560m) to Lo-Manthang (3800m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Hotel at Lo-Manthang

Distance: 20KM, ride-able

Day 10 : Lo-Manthang (3800m)

Today we explore the lands of Lo-Mangthang. Lo-Mangthang is also considered as the Land of Forbidden Kingdom. Lomangthng was the capital of Mustang in the past and this area has got several centuries-old Gumba, Royal Palace (Raj Durbar), inhabited caves in the Mountains, Historical museum and ancient Buddhist cultures and sculptures protected in the Monastery.

Day 11 : Lo-Manthang (3800m) to Ghami () via Ghar Gumba

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Overnight at Ghami village

Day 12 : Ghami to Samar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Overnight at Samar

Distance: 32 KM

Day 13 : Samar to Marpha (2670m)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Overnight at Marpha

Distance: 30 KM

Day 14 : Marpha to Tatopani

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Overnight at Tatopani

Distance: 45 KM

Day 15 : Tatopani to Beni then Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, we ride through the jeep track till we reach Beni Bazaar. We will have lunch and we pack our Bicycles in the Vehicle (Truck). Then we will drive to Pokhara and check in to Hotel.

Distance: 18Km, 100% ride-able

Day 16 : Rest/explore/shop in Pokhara or fly back to KTM.

Today is our rest day. We can plan either a free day at Pokhra or we can fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy the Free day at Kathmandu.

You can explore the local market and buy some souvenirs and gifts for your colleagues and family.

Day 17 : Departure from Kathmandu.

Our staff will drop you at the Airport for your Internationa Flight.
